Alexandria

Chartered October 1911. Located at 1430 West Braddock Road. Their first meeting in the new Temple was held in January 1971. Membership at the end of 1998 was 2915. Reunions are held two Saturdays in April and October when 15 degrees are conferred. Meetings are held on the second Friday of every month. Among its active members is David Kruger, 33°, Sovereign Grand Inspector General in Virginia.

 

Danville

Chartered May 7, 1923. Located at the Masonic Temple. Membership at the end of 1998 was 488. Reunions are held two Saturdays in the Spring and Fall when 10 degrees are conferred. Meetings are held the second Friday of each month.

 

Lynchburg

Chartered October 1920. Located at 1018 Rivermont Avenue. Membership at the end of 1998 was 773. Reunions are held on two Saturdays in April and October when 10 degrees are conferred. Meetings are held the second Friday of each month.

 

Newport News

Chartered October 1912. Located at 65 Saunders Road. Membership at the end of 1998 was 925. Reunions are held in the Spring and Fall when 12 degrees are conferred. Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month.

 

Norfolk

Chartered December 1874. Located in the Masonic Temple on Granby Street. Membership at the end of 1998 was 2,569. Reunions are held in the Spring and Fall when 21 degrees are conferred. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month.

 

Portsmouth

Chartered 1955. Located at Cedar Lane and Hatton Point Roads. First meeting was held November 1964 in the new Temple. The auditorium was added in November 1978. Membership at the end of 1998 was 1,353. Reunions are held in the Spring and Fall. Meetings are held the first Monday of the month.

 

Richmond

Chartered October 1878. Located at 4204 Hermitage Road. Their first meeting in the new Temple was held in September 1969. Membership at the end of 1998 was 3,370. Reunions are held on Saturdays in April & May, and October & November, when 13 degrees are conferred. Among its active members is James B. Wilkinson, 33°, IGH, Orient Representative to S.G.I.G. They have the Earl H. Wicker Childhood Language Center to serve children with learning and language disorders located adjacent to their Temple.

 

Roanoke

Chartered October 1911. Located at 622 Campbell Avenue, S.W. Their first meeting in the new Temple was April 17, 1959. Membership at the end of 1998 was 2,292. Reunions are held on Thursday and Friday in May when 17 degrees are conferred. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month.
